About the work
“This illustration is intended to allow for interpretation but aims to evoke feelings of suffocation. The shrink wrap, the earth, and the vantage point of the earth in space can have several meanings depending on the viewer’s personal experiences and values—an intentional design decision that is important to me as an illustrator. This vector illustration was created in Adobe Illustrator.”

About the Designer
“As a graphic designer, I am partial to creating vector illustrations. I have a background in exhibition graphic design and worked at the Museum of Science in Boston for 7 years before co-founding Colorbox Industries, a graphic design firm where I am a partner. My work involves visualizing complex information for a broad audience every day, but I also enjoy creating imagery that’s less explanatory when working on personal art projects.”
