AIGA Maine is a nonprofit organization run entirely by volunteers. Our work is made possible by individuals, businesses, and organizations who believe, as we do, that a strong design community makes Maine a better place to live and work.

Your support helps us create opportunities for designers to connect, learn, share their work, and build sustainable creative careers — through workshops, talks, exhibitions, coworking, portfolio reviews, Maine Design Fest, and more.

Make a donation

You don’t have to be a big company to make a difference. AIGA Maine is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Individual donations of any size help us keep programming accessible and put resources directly back into Maine’s creative community.

See what your support can do:

$5: Buy a coffee for a fellow creative at AIGA Office Hours, our free monthly coworking series.
$25: Put a round of local craft beer on the table at a Freelancers’ Roundtable.
$50: Help purchase paper, ink, screens, foil, or other materials for an IMPRINTS hands-on print workshop.
$100: Help us steer the next generation of designers at college Portfolio Days at Maine schools like MECA&D and SMCC.
$250: Pay a local speaker, artist, or workshop leader for sharing their expertise with our community.
$500: Help bring a nationally-recognized designer, illustrator, typographer, or creative leader to Maine for a talk or Maine Design Fest.
$1,000: Put 10 large-format pieces on the wall at our annual Poster Show.
$2,500: Help make a major Maine Design Fest experience possible — from our day-long conference to studio talks, workshops, mural and type walks, and community gatherings.

Every contribution adds up. Your support helps us compensate creatives, purchase materials, keep ticket prices affordable, offer free programming, and bring designers together across Maine — from Portland to Bangor and beyond. It helps sustain a year-round calendar of talks, workshops, exhibitions, coworking, professional development, and community events, both in person and online.

Sponsorship offers an opportunity to connect with designers, creative professionals, students, educators, and creative leaders from across the state while helping us expand the reach and accessibility of our programming.
