Task Master

Artist Statement

This poster shows the endless verbal requests and pressure to “respond” through our work. The image was created through a series of printed paper with common verbal requests on one side (color) and the word “NO” on the other side in black and white. I printed dozens of copies and cut them into two inch strips. I then coiled and stapled them together in their organic “tear drop” shapes. I then photographed the entire “sculpture” and using photoshop super imposed it into the poster and added the hands, background, color correction, so on.
