AIGA West Michigan and IxDA Grand Rapids, in sponsorship with Universal Mind, are excited to announce Sketchcamp GR coming this summer! The Sketchcamp initiative started in San Francisco and has since migrated to Chicago and SXSW. It originated in San Diego as community feedback and direction from the San Diego user experience community group, UX Speakeasy. Sketchcamp is currently organized by community volunteers and functions as a not-for-profit event.
While other Sketchcamp events have focused on user experience, the goal for this event is to bring in a variation of techniques to reach a broader audience. This diverse group of industry professionals have the sketch chops and breadth of knowledge to share their techniques on an introductory level – allowing you to get your hands dirty and learn which techniques work best for you!
We are thrilled to announce our speakers and workshop leaders!

David Fik: Drawing on an Advantage
Peiter Buick: The Messy Art of UX Sketching
