Join AIGA Pittsburgh and Dan Rugh, owner of Commonwealth Press, for a beginner screen printing workshop. Prepare to get your hands dirty as you screen print your very own t-shirt and poster! Enjoy some snacks and throw back a few beers while you learn the fundamentals of screen printing in Dan's South Side studio.

Learn how Commonwealth Press began as a basement experiment in 2002 and has quickly evolved into the successful business it is today. "Commonwealth Press primarily focuses on t-shirt sales and being awesome," according to Dan. The studio houses a variety of manual presses, auto presses, flat stock, textile areas, 2 swings, and and even a small quarter pipe.

The Commonwealth Press workspace is full of ink, grease, and machinery, so please dress accordingly.
