During Design Fest 2024, AIGA Maine is partnering with three local design studios to offer Open Studio Day. The day is a unique opportunity for Portland-area studios to open their doors to interested visitors from Maine's creative community during a specified time, similar to an open house. Visitors can drop in to tour the studio and learn about their creative processes, their business, inspirational projects, and the people working there! This is a great opportunity to network and make connections with three influential and diverse studios in Portland.

More about each of the three participating studios and what to expect:

• Garrand Moehlenkamp, located at 16 Middle St, Suite 301, Portland, ME 04101, visit between 10 am-12 pm: View their branding and advertising work and learn their insights and creative process. They also can show a presentation that focuses on their perspective of the industry today and how we rise to solve problems for clients.

• Indigo Arts Alliance, located at 60 Cove Street, Portland, ME 04101, visit between 11 am-12 pm: Indigo will ground visitors in their mission and how design is at the cornerstone of communicating who they are and why they do the work they do globally.

• Might & Main, located at 84 Middle Street, Portland, ME 04101, visit between 3 pm-5 pm: Might & Main plans to share some recent project samples, speak about their creative process, and host Q&A.

These visits are FREE - you can "purchase" a ticket to reserve your spot, but tickets are not required for entry. This is meant to be casual - you can arrive and leave as you please during the times specified above and in the agenda below.
