“What can I do? Where do I start? How can I get involved?”

This where most people get stuck. How can we engage with others to affect meaningful, positive change in our city? Philadelphia is a hard-working, creative, innovative place, but is inhibited by its own set of unique challenges. AIGA Philadelphia and Pellegrino Collaborative have teamed up to produce a community forum called Conduit, bringing together a variety of leading voices from Philadelphia to discuss ways to mobilize for social and environmental justice. Panalists will inform, inspire, and empower us with the work they do in response to the growing need to take part in urban renewal.

During Conduit, to help attendees take the leap into community service, we will also introduce a new mentorship program entitled Lots of Power, which will pair creative professionals and high schools students in mentoring teams to develop new uses for abandoned lots in Philadelphia.

You are invited to join the conversation where we will explore the biggest ideas for tackling the city's quandaries, and then be given the opportunities to actually implement them. Let's get connected.
