This poster was inspired by the medieval language of Ogham in Ireland. It is a language derived from the shape language of trees, and was often engraved in the trunks or stones and read vertically from the ground up. I designed my own font around this alphabet to share this interesting history and suggest a revival of being in conversation with our land. The textures used are a collage of tree trunks from a recent hike I took.
