This is a poster I made to recruit students to take my class, Typographic Systems, at Northeastern University in Spring 2026. Recently, I’ve been fascinated by the two different forms of the lowercase letter /a and how we’re trained to accept both signifiers as conveying the same meaning. I thought I’d share this recent obsession with others on campus and try to recruit students who might share a similar curiosity. Originally posters were Riso printed red ink on solar yellow paper.
