June’s Type Walk with Zenab Bastawala (@sign_walker) is on June 2nd, from 5-6pm! ️ Rediscover the lost art of custom lettering of the 60s, 70s & 80s era record labels by visiting local record shops. RSVP required.
All participants will receive a nostalgic sticker collection of lettering styles from the 60, 70 & 80’s eras.
What might we discover? Stylistic lettering that highlights this era’s unique characteristics, including craggy fonts that look hewn from rock to type with bullet holes or made from rope.
