About the work
“I used paper and pen, then Procreate and Illustrator to design the poster. My motivation: Even though they’re well-known and used in commercial printing for many decades, students of all ages are still handed red, yellow and blue and told they’re the subtractive primaries for mixing color. The result is dank, dinginess — and no brilliant magenta or cyan! Let’s do better: Kids deserve to be told the truth about how to achieve the broadest range of colors with the most efficiency!”
