Emily Foran
President

Emily is a Creative Director and Brand Designer with over 20 years of experience building thoughtful, impact-driven design. Through her studio, Foran Concepts, she creates brand identities, campaigns, and communications tools for nonprofits, government agencies, and purpose-driven startups. Her clients include the Michael Phelps Foundation, Maine Department of Education, Digg, True Ventures, and the National Partnership for Women & Families.

Before founding her consultancy in 2013, Emily designed over 100 public service campaigns at agencies in San Francisco for clients like the CDC, FDA, Trevor Project, and Harvard School of Public Health. A graduate of Syracuse University’s College of Visual and Performing Arts, she holds a BFA in Communications Design. Emily lives in southern Maine with her husband, daughter, and their sweet, slightly clingy rescue dog, Nacho. In addition to leading AIGA Maine, she volunteers as a Girl Scout Troop Leader and co-founded Solo League, an “anti-networking” networking group for solopreneurs.
