A familiar story to those of us who grew up in poor immigrant families. Having chores was an expectation with no allowance. Being constantly reminded that the chores we are asked to do as a child are for the family and menial in comparison to the hardships our parents had to endure just to have access to basic necessities like food. This poster was created using physical props and wooden type. The image was then brought into Photoshop to further enhance the image.
