Join designer, blogger, and typofile, Nikki Villagomez, for a look into how culture affects the decision processes of every day life. For those who mix words with images, this is as crucial to the message we convey as it is fascinating to an observer of those processes. In her presentation, Villagomez will use pictures she has taken throughout her travels and talk about the comparisons (and contrasts) in type choices based on location.
We encourage local designers in the San Antonio community to really look at the typography throughout your city and take pictures that you feel represents the city of San Antonio. Pictures need to be submitted by Friday, January 4. These pictures will be used as a crucial part of the Jan 31st presentation. You can submit your photos via:
