Revinylize Makeshop

Created by AIGA Salt Lake City, the Revinylize Project empowers the public to use design thinking to stimulate thought, dialog and action by holding workshops, community events and local projects.

Every piece is unique! The Revinylize Project promotes and encourages social awareness with the power of creativity. By reclaiming local billboard material, the once giant images are transformed into smaller works of art in the form of unique vinyl messenger bags, purses, wallets and cuffs.

At Revinylize Makeshop, we'll transform more than 100 lbs of billboard vinyl into affordable wearable art, keeping the waste out of our landfills while raising awareness for AIGA Iowa. So come pick your vinyl piece and let us show you how to put it together with no more than a single piece of duct tape or velcro dot!

This is a open house event so stop by when you are able between 6-8pm to create your very own work of art.
