A massive collection of hand-printed gig posters is coming to Philly for ONE NIGHT ONLY! The National Poster Retrospecticus showcases over 80 of the most prominent poster designers in the country with more than 250 posters on the walls. This traveling show includes heavy hitters like Aaron Draplin, Daniel Danger and Aesthetic Apparatus presenting posters designed for Radiohead, Phish, Wilco and many other bands. Most everything on the walls will be for sale! ALSO, House Industries will be giving a talk the afternoon following the reception on Sunday, 9/15/13.

The National Poster Retrospecticus is a traveling show of more than 250 hand-printed event posters from over 80 of the most prominent poster designers in the country. The NPR is produced and curated by JP Boneyard
About Masthead Print Studio
Based in Philadelphia, Masthead Print Studio specializes in establishing an environment for local printmakers to create and show their work. Each show is aimed at giving the artists and attendants a look into the creative process. Masthead Print Studio has done lectures at numerous places including La Salle University and the Savannah College of Art and Design. They also have provided open studios for groups such as the Mural Arts Program and the Art Factory.
About Aiga Philly
In 1981, a group of Philadelphia designers formed AIGA Philadelphia, the first local chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts. Presently the chapter is comprised of over 700 members. AIGA Philadelphia’s purpose is both integral and complementary to the national organization: to provide the highest standards within the profession and the business community and to stimulate interest and understanding of graphic design and visual communication through lectures, exhibitions, periodicals and other activities.
