Autumn is the season for learning new things and for giving thanks. We're teaming up with Baltimore Print Studios to do both!
As a thank you for being an AIGA member at a Supporter level or above, AIGA Baltimore and Baltimore Print Studios (BPS) are offering you an exclusive one-day, hands-on letterpress workshop that covers all the basics of letterpress printing. We've scored a BPS discounted rate, so don't wait to register.
This six-hour workshop will show you how to: hand-set wood and metal-type, print from type and polymer plates, and troubleshoot printing and press issues.
Ten lucky attendees (yes, we’re keeping the class small to give you plenty of one-on-one attention) will leave the class understanding how to operate the presses safely and efficiently. If you like what you learn, you’ll have the skills you need to return and rent time to print your own work during BPS's regular studio hours. No experience is necessary to participate.
