DK Holland: Torn Between We and Me

Every day we make decisions that are self-serving. But we also have to consider our friends, family, teammates and the whole world. What a drag!

Learn why cooperation is now the name of the game and why it actually makes your life a whole lot more happy. Games and other interactive activities are planned. Bring your open mind and sense of humor.

SCAD-Atlanta Graphic Design Department and AIGA-Atlanta present DK Holland.

DK Holland focuses on grassroots activities that affect our fate and future. She developed a national project called Citizen: ME to help kids become active citizens, and also co-founded the 100% working Green Hill Food Co-op (now the 2nd largest of its kind in the country).

DK is the editor of Design Issues at Communication Arts Magazine. She serves as an advisor to Design Ignites Change and Project M. Her career started with 35 years as a designer, creative director, teacher, strategist and writer focused on promoting commercial businesses. In 2001, she shifted to focus on work with socially progressive organizations, helping them reposition to have more positive impact on our future.
