Day of Caring/Heart of Sharing
We need volunteers who are willing to give up a day or at least a couple hours for local non-profits in need.

For the past 12 years on Day of Caring, United Way of Greater Portland has partnered with area marketing, advertising and design professionals to bring local non-profits free marketing and advertising advice in "Heart of Sharing." For the third year, AIGA Maine is proud to join the Ad Club of Maine, the Maine Public Relations Council, and the Maine Marketing Association to support this effort.

The "Heart of Sharing" program provides agencies with personalized, 90-minute one-on-one sessions of pro-bono advice with a team of marketing, media, PR, design and event planning professionals just like yourself! You'll be working with your colleagues on a variety of needs based on your particular skills. These could include newsletter ideas, event planning, public relations stategizing, branding, marketing, web design, advertising, and more.

WHY
Deserving non-profit organizations NEED your skills, your abilities, your talent. Take a break from clients, come and spend some time with other ad/media/PR/creative types and work with people who REALLY want to hear what you have to say!
